1. Nature of our products
Industrial Fieldbook sells informational research products. Our products compile and normalize evidence drawn from public sources. They are reference material for initial, first-pass market and supplier screening.
2. Public-source evidence
Our products are based on public-source evidence gathered as of a stated coverage date. Sources change. We make no representation that any product is complete, current, or error-free beyond the stated coverage date. You should not rely on any product without independent verification at the time you use it.
3. Not professional advice
Our products are not engineering, procurement, legal, compliance, safety, or financial advice. They are not a specification, a recommendation, an approval, or a qualification of any supplier or component. Nothing in our products constitutes a professional opinion or relieves you of your responsibility to perform appropriate independent diligence.
4. Buyer responsibility
You, the buyer, are responsible for exercising independent judgment regarding suitability, safety, qualification, compliance, and any other matter relevant to your use of our products. Before any purchasing or equipment decision, you must conduct your own current technical, commercial, safety, legal, and procurement review with qualified professionals as appropriate.
5. Coverage limitations
Products are scoped to a defined universe (for example, a named number of manufacturers carrying a named number of source-linked evidence rows). Our products are not comprehensive global coverage, are not approved-vendor lists, and do not include pricing, lead times, capacity, or supply assurance. Any entity or claim outside the stated coverage is not covered by the product.
6. Digital product licence
Upon purchase you receive a single commercial licence for internal business use by your company. You may circulate purchased files internally to employees and contractors working for that company. You may not resell, publicly post, or redistribute the files or any portion thereof as a standalone product. Internal use with respect to a named company only; no rights are granted for broader redistribution unless separately agreed in writing.
7. No warranty
Our products and this website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Industrial Fieldbook and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from or in connection with your use of, or purchase of a product from, this site.
9. Refunds
Because Industrial Fieldbooks are digital research products delivered electronically, purchases are generally non-refundable after delivery. Refunds may be provided for duplicate purchases, technical failure to deliver the purchased files, or where otherwise required by applicable law.
